#334: Les Davis, Jan 17 2009

Holly and I went to the Depth Charger's club dive today. There was tons of debris at the entry point, which made getting in the water a little interesting. We swam out about 150 ft and dropped into 1 ft vis. It opened up to about 3-5 ft at depth, just enough to keep track of each other.

Everything was covered in silt, and there wasn't much to see except several large ling cod. After about 35 minutes, we both agreed to cut it short and head in. At about 25 ft, we ran into a silt cloud and vis was reduced to about 6 inches. I was leading so I crept along following my compass until we got out of it. Not a great dive, but, hey, we came back!
